Beginnings
Mood:  not sure

OK here's my story in a nutshell.  I'm about to loose my house, along with a lot of other good people, and I thought I'd try an experiment.  If it works I'll publish the results and see if it can be fine tuned for others in similar situations.

My Idea is to find out how many people are out there who would be willing to part with a dollar, a buck, one hundred cents to help me and others save our homes.  We've all been watching the financial meltdown in this country.  Seems our government is only interested in saving people who recieve million dollar bonuses.  No surprise there.  So it looks like the only way we can help ourselves is to help ourselves.  We leave the government out of it.  Everyone knows by now that they could ruin a wet dream so we leave them out of everything.  There is an massive social network in cyberspace and it may be the only tool we have at our disposal to put things right.  I'd like to get some feedback...uhh...and some donations to get this started.  I am not a charity though I am asking for the charity of others.  You wouldn't be able to deduct it from your taxes but, after all, it's only a buck, one third the cost of a latte at Starbucks, Peet's or The Coffee Bean.

I'll be setting up a paypal account soon, if I can scrounge up the dough, but in the meantime I'd like to hear from others in similar situations.  Maybe if we pool our skills, talent, effort, ideas...dollar bills...we can keep a few people (including myself and my wife and three dogs) off the street.

More later...unless they turn off my internet connection or electricity again.  Sheesh.
